It was a pleasure to host a solo platform concert for the Lower School. With music ranging from Beethoven to the Beatles, and with an instrumental array which included performances on bassoon, marimba, double bass, trumpet and flute, there was something for all. All pupils performed with great style and have shown excellent commitment and dedication to their instrumental practice this half term. With a series of high octane drum performances also evident, we look forward to the Lower School Concert in November in which both ensembles and solo items will be presented.
