Lower School pupils have been practising their rhetorical skills for the last few weeks in the annual Public Speaking Competition. The final day of term saw the grand final between first year winners 1F (Will Harding, William Pearce Harvey and Carl Hana) and second year champions 2H (Felix Price, Anur Nayak and George Lethaby). 1F talked about the dangers of climate change, while 2H addressed the issue of child migrants. All the speakers did a great job and passionate points were made on both topics, giving the audience plenty of food for thought. Mr May had a difficult job to decide a result but, by the slimmest of margins, 1F were declared the winners.
