The first PE lesson of the term saw Lower School pupils braving the elements in the annual inter-tutor group cross country competition, running two laps of Albert Park. Results were as follows:
Second Year
3rd place – 2G – 582 points from 20 runners = 29.1 per runner
2nd place – 2H – 608 points from 20 runners = 30.4 per runner
1st place – 2C – 580 points from 19 runners = 30.5 per runner
First Year
3rd place – 1F – 582 points from 22 runners = 26 per runner
2nd place – 1M – 720 points from 21 runners = 34 per runner
1st place – 1P – 777 points from 20 runners = 39 per runner
Particular congratulations go to the individual winners in each year group, Wilf Rice (10 mins 4 seconds) and Daragh Cassidy (10 minutes 11 seconds).
