On Sunday, a senior team and staff took part in the traditional season opener at the Longworth 10k. The multi-terrain course, which runs through beautiful countryside, provides an ideal test of early season fitness. It’s a great race which raises money for the village primary school and Abingdon is proud of its long association with the event. The trophy bears the names of nine Old Abingdonians who have won the race in its 25 year history and Quinn added his name with a dominant display of front running, coming home almost 4 minutes ahead of the second placed runner. He finished in a time of 33.22, equalling the course record held by Rowan (OA 2022).
