A Level English Literature and Drama students and members of the Literary Society from both Abingdon and St Helen & St Katharine recently gathered for their annual dinner. After a talk and panel discussion with playwright and author Julian Armitstead (After the Accident), pupils enjoyed a delectable meal in The Great Gatsby-themed surroundings, followed by the customary quiz. The staff team has no hard feelings towards the quiz champions, led by U6 Abingdon student Gus, although we must remind them that we graciously stepped aside in the missing vowels round.
