Four boys from the Third Year (Ramli Al-Akiti, Arjun Bystrom, Jacob Kind and Olly Pratt) have been preparing the teaching of an MFL lesson all term, as part of the Third Year Services programme. This week they went to Buckland Primary School near Faringdon to teach their Malay, Swedish and Portuguese lessons to pupils in Years 3-6.
They did a brilliant job; the pupils were fully engaged and really enjoyed the experience, and everyone had learned some new words by the end of the session. Many thanks to Buckland Primary School for hosting us and providing such a warm welcome. Thanks too to fourth years Clement Tsoi and Alden Lo, who helped the boys in the preparation sessions, as part of their DoE service award.
