First years from Abingdon and St Helen’s met yesterday evening for a Joint Thinking Supper. As it was World Book Day the topics for discussion revolved around books with the groups considering questions such as “what is the importance of books?” and “what would the world be like without books?”. After a pizza and salad supper, the groups presented their findings with many very thoughtful contributions from all the participants.
