Abingdon 1st VIII began the summer term tennis season with a strong performance at the first round of the ISL competition at Eton.
After a rough start playing Eton in singles the boys really dug deep and played some excellent tennis to come out in second place overall. As a new member of the staff team it was excellent to see the boys rise in the face of adversity.
It was an afternoon of really excellent tennis. Several games were noteworthy with superb points being played by all boys.
I look forward to seeing them progress over the rest of the season.
