On a hot and sunny mid May day, First Year students visited Hengistbury Head to investigate the coastal landforms found in the area. They saw evidence of longshore drift, coastal erosion and how humans are trying to defend the coastline with man made structures. Some excellent field sketches were drawn and some much needed ice cream was consumed!
