Three upper sixth pupils enjoyed a visit to the House of Lords for the annual All-Party Parliamentary Engineering Group lunch and discussion. Talks were on the theme of engineering for the food industry and included engineers from Bournville and the makers of the Colin the Caterpillar cake! The pupils learned about the science of tempering chocolate and the quest to create a chocolate-piping robotic hand.
