The Hockey Club is very excited to announce the appointment of Richard Hobley as our hockey professional. Richard has played premier league hockey, is currently the Head Coach at Banbury HC, and been Director of Sport at Bloxham School. He brings with him a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the team.
On top of that, we are very excited to continue our partnership with premier league club, Reading Hockey Club. The Club will be providing two full time coaches to the team, giving invaluable knowledge and technical expertise to each session.
Lastly, we have teamed up with Great Britain Goal-Keeper Coach Tom Millington. Tom currently runs the most successful goalkeeper company in the UK, Fortitude. He has worked with Maddie Hinch (gold medalist from Rio ) and is currently involved in the Great Britain programme for both men and women. Thanks to the support from the hockey dinner, our parental body, the Hockey Griffens, has raised the money to be able to provide the goalkeepers with an 8 week training block.
