Over the Easter holidays 26 lower sixth boys completed their Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award practice expedition to the Rhinog mountains in Snowdonia. The glorious azure blue skies on the first two days turned to low cloud with high winds and drizzle on the remaining days in a great demonstration of how mountain weather can change quickly. The boys coped very well with the conditions and wild boggy terrain and are now well prepared for their assessed expedition to the Lake District in July.
