Five first year members of the MFL baking club attended the Oxford German Network “Weihnachtsplätzchenbackwettbewerb” or German biscuit competition at the Taylorian in Oxford. Pupils baked and decorated a range of German “Plätzchen” to take the competition, where they met other pupils learning German across Oxfordshire and took part in Christmas crafts and a quiz. The pupils were proud winners of the “Most Beautiful Biscuits” category – fantastisch!
