The French department had the great pleasure of welcoming Dr Rees for the day. Dr Rees teaches French at Oriel College and her area of expertise is 19th Century Literature. She spoke to 5th year and lower sixth pupils about studying French at Oxford University, emphasising the importance of learning languages beyond Pre-U level. She also conducted mock interviews with two pupils who are applying to Oxford this year.
