The first years today travelled to Fishbourne Roman Palace near Chichester to find out more about the setting for the stories they are currently studying as part of the Cambridge Latin Course. As well as learning more about the probable owner, King Togidubnus, they looked at the excellent mosaics, explored the gardens, and handled Roman artefacts – some even got to dress up as Romans!
