The new first years were in school on Saturday morning to take part in a range of activities to help them continue to get to know their new classmates, while also working on their communication and listening skills. They solved challenging tangrams, operated a massive parachute, and attempted some games whilst wearing blindfolds. The final task saw them competing to create the tallest freestanding structure able to carry a marshmallow. Parents then attended a buffet lunch to give them the chance to start getting to know each other too!
