Joe Betts in the Lower Sixth has been shortlisted in the New College for the Humanities essay competition. There were 6000 entries and 20 have made the shortlist. Joe is waiting to hear whether he has been placed in the prizes. Joe’s essay was on the title he designed himself: ‘Is literature always a force for good?’
