On Tuesday, the cross country club raced in the regional round of the English Schools Cup at Cokethorpe School. On a fast, flat course, both Intermediate and Senior teams dominated the event. A young Intermediate team raced with power and patience on an unusually long 5km course. Daragh and Edward finished 2nd and 3rd, with Third Year students Harry and Henry also running exceptional races. The seniors showed the importance of whole team strength. All four counting runners finished between 7th and 13th place. They confidently dispatched teams from Cambridgeshire and Norfolk, and both teams secured a win that takes them to the national final in December.
