Three Abingdon athletes qualified to run for Oxfordshire at the English Schools Championship in Nottingham on 18 March. Oliver Sherratt was 133rd in the Inters race. In the Seniors race, Johnny James came home 20th with Quinn Miell-Ingram not far behind in 27th.
We congratulate Johnny in particular on his last cross country race in a school’s competition. He was racing with some outstanding athletes, staying with the leading group until deep into the race. We wish him luck as he moves into the triathlon season and thank him for his leadership of the club this season.
