It was a busy end of term in Lower School. First, the charity pool doubles tournament came to its conclusion with the grand final taking place on the last Wednesday of term. Indy and Toby just pipped Huw and Fergus to the trophy in a tense match. Thursday saw the Lower School carol service take place in St Michael’s church. The chapel choir were on excellent form and the Lower School Band entertained parents in The Pavilion after the service with a medley of Christmas carols. A collection after the service, when combined with the proceeds from the pool tournament, raised £300 for Agape, our partner charity in Moldova. The grand final of the Lower School Challenge then took place on the last day of term with quizmaster Mr May challenging the teams from 2G and 1M with some fiendishly difficult questions. 1M (Charlie, Harry and Rory) put up a good fight but 2G (Fergus, Seb and William) were that little bit quicker on the buzzer so won the coveted trophy.
