Fifth year electronics students are currently working hard to complete their GCSE Controlled Assessment projects. Each student has designed, built and tested a circuit to fulfil a particular function.
These include reaction timers, alarms and stopwatches depending on the particular aim. It can be a frustrating process trying to work out where the faults are and hence why a particular subsystem is not functioning as anticipated but nearly all are now on the home straight in time for the deadline in a couple of weeks.
