The cross country club got its season underway at the Eagle Relays in London on Saturday. Five athletes were making their debuts and the squad had a very positive feel as everyone attacked their 3km leg in glorious sunshine. Freddie broke 12 minutes in the Juniors and Daragh ran strongly in the Seniors against opposition four years his senior. The Inters performed consistently across their four legs to break 45 minutes. The Senior A and B teams dominated their race, finishing first and second. Again consistency was the key to the A team’s winning performance (40.12 for 12km). Club Captain Oli ran the fastest leg of the day (9.50).

Results: Juniors 4th; Inters 4th; Seniors 1st.
