Sixth former Alexander Scott is the first boy in his year to complete the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Alex volunteered as a Lower School Assistant for his volunteering section, learned to play the guitar for his skill section and competed for the school at hockey for his physical section.
He successfully completed challenging expeditions on Dartmoor and the Lake District and will soon be invited to receive his certificate from a member of the royal family. This comes during the week where 78 boys received their Bronze award certificates and 45 boys received their Silver award certificates in assembly.
