The cross country club travelled to Radley College for their annual relays last week. The Seniors were narrowly beaten into second by Eton College and a very young Intermediate team was second to Coopers’ Company and Coborn School. There were a number of excellent legs run over the muddy 2 mile course – Xavier (12.08) and Edward (12.19) ran their best races of the year and Daragh (11.54) would have had the fastest leg had he run in his (Junior) age group. In the Seniors, Jacob (11.48) showed a timely return to form and Monty (10.49) narrowly missed out on the fastest leg of the day. Overall, an excellent final tune up race ahead of the ESAA National Cup final on 1 March.
