Last Wednesday afternoon saw the final croquet fixture of the season, against Merchant Taylors’ Northwood on home soil. With most of the croquet first team away on a Geography field trip, several players with much less croquet experience stepped up at the last minute to represent the school – including a couple of pupils who had never played croquet before. The progress made by all was impressive, and there were some very close games. Thank you to Merchant Taylors’ for making the journey and for an enthusiastic afternoon of croquet.
