The annual Countdown Challenge provides Lower School with the opportunity to test out their English and maths skills in Abingdon’s own version of the Channel 4 favourite. 1P and 2C proved to be the winning teams from each year group and so went head to head in the grand final in the Amey Theatre. Nerves were clearly on display with some slips made by both sides, but 2C (Tom Austin, Joe Kerrigan and Jesse Oti) were victorious by a single point.
