Two of Abingdon's Young Enterprise teams gave presentations at the Said Business School in Oxford last night. They were the only 4th year teams competing in a strong field of lower sixth groups. Having submitted their Company Reports in advance, they then had a tough question session with the judges before taking to the stage and giving a summary of their year's highlights and experience gained. Both teams were confident and articulate and received a host of positive comments.

Despite not being selected to go through to the Regional Final in Reading, the boys picked up awards for Best Business Plan, Best Use of Online Media and Best Style and Design.

I was immensely proud of the boys, naturally believing they could have received several of the other awards; they were a credit to the school.

Thanks go to the Business Advisors, Paul Green and Allen Salter for preparing the teams and congratulations to two of our other Business Advisors, Kevin Senior and Nick Marsh who received special awards for service to Young Enterprise in the county.
