Pupils in a second year French set thoroughly enjoyed a tasty addition to their French class when, to celebrate La Chandeleur, the lesson was temporarily suspended to enjoy crêpes with chocolate syrup. La Chandeleur is celebrated in France on February 2nd and symbolises the sun as the days slowly start to lengthen as spring approaches. Many thanks to a kind mother for supplying the crêpes!
