On Thursday, several of our top cellists had the opportunity to perform and participate in a masterclass with Robert Max, principal cellist of the London Chamber Orchestra. The middle school cello ensemble opened the masterclass masterfully, followed by refined solo works by individual cellists. All students involved engaged with the constructive advice and criticism, and finished the session with clear ideas for improvement.
