Students across the OX14 Learning Partnership in Years 10, 11 and Sixth Form were invited to attend a career insight talk on Monday. Co-hosted by Abingdon and St Helen and St Katharine Schools, the event provided insight from industry leaders about the different professions which can be accessed from the study of Geography. Careers included Property, Surveying and Planning; Campaigning and Advocacy; Business Supply Chains and Logistics; Environmental and Sustainability Consulting; and Government and International Relations. Michael Triff, Head of Career Guidance and Non-UK University Applications at Abingdon, comments: “This was a very well attended event and a very useful opportunity for students considering, or currently taking, Geography A Level to find out more about the careers paths to which it can lead. My thanks to all our panelists and to St Helen and St Katharine School.”
