On Saturday evening the canoe polo team competed in their first tournament of the year in Bedford as part of the British Canoeing Youth League. Five games were played with one win, one draw and two losses, placing Abingdon in third place for the evening and the league so far. This was a pleasing result as previous strong players leaving at the end of last year to go to university and hence this being the first time this team has played competitively together.
