Two senior referees from British Canoe Polo came to Abingdon on Sunday to run the referee qualification course. An hour’s theory exam paper followed the six hour long presentation on all aspects of the rules and how they are applied. Everyone passed with the higher mark which is needed to become a grade 3 referee. They will now attempt to complete the practical part of the assessment at the next weekend tournament.
