Six cadets attended RAF Little Rissington and 612 Volunteer Gliding Squadron for their first experience of gliding. A break in the weather meant all six cadets got to experience two winch launches before taking control of the aircraft. While awaiting their flights cadets got to practise attaching the winch cable and steadying the wings. All the cadets had an excellent experience and some are keen to apply for Air Cadet Gliding Scholarships in the future.
