Each half term, a small group of Third Years embark on the bushcraft course on a Tuesday afternoon. This term we have had a new group taking on the challenges of safe knife use and whittling, and then in the next week attempting to light a fire without matches or lighters. Eventually both groups did manage this and were rewarded by cooking marshmallows! After half term, they will finish off the course doing some cooking over a larger fire.
