The Third Year bushcraft course is a five week rotation as part of the service and citizenship scheme, where students learn the safe use of tools such as knives, axes and saws, do some practical whittling and then use their creations to attempt to light fires with a fire steel. Successful groups got to toast marshmallows on their fires. They also had a go at some more adventurous cooking on a bigger fire.
