Eight Fourth Year students from Abingdon School completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Canoeing Assessment on the River Medway in Kent. Launching from Tonbridge, the team navigated downstream to Maidstone via an overnight stop near Yalding. Alongside developing paddling and camp craft skills, students also took part in PaddleUK’s Big River Clean Up.
