We held our first bridge tournament against Magdalen College School on Saturday. As we normally play contract bridge, we had to learn the basics of duplicate bridge very quickly!
Our first team of Jonathan Lee, Cameron Butcher, Jason Ng and Dmitry Drugakov won by 82 points to 22.
Our second team of Ivan and Isaac Tan, James Healey and Ediz Hunter and Edmond Wang won by 42 points to 26.
Our junior team, coached by Edmond Wang, played a nail-biting contract rubber. They got within a whisker of finishing the rubber, but time was against us and we will complete it on Wednesday. Adam Andrews, Harrison Cruikshank and Harry Vinall did a great job.
