On Sunday, it was a complete delight to welcome the Wantage Silver Band for a series of workshops and an afternoon concert. 30 pupils were treated to a range of instrumentally specific workshops, learning about instrumental technique alongside the repertoire for the afternoon concert. Our pupils were then able to experience the majesty and force of a Brass Band as they joined forces to play a number of items in the afternoon concert. This was a wonderful local collaboration with incredible musicians, leaving both pupils and audience spellbound with their playing.
