It may have been the first really sunny day of June but a group of third year boarders ventured across to Newbury for a joint bowling social with Downe House School.
16 boys from Abingdon met up with 29 girls from Downe House and played a couple of games of bowling with a meal. Fun was had by all and lots of socialising took place. Alvin Tang was judged to be the best bowler from Abingdon and won himself a box of celebrations.
We are all looking forward to our next joint venture soon.
