On Friday, the third year academic scholars had a trip to Bletchley Park, home to the codebreakers of the Second World War. The day involved a guided tour focusing on the role the codebreakers played in the D-Day landings, as well as a taught workshop on the Enigma machine, where the boys got to use a model of the real thing. After lunch, the day ended with a walk through the excellent museum and Mansion house.
