In February, 14 A Level Biologists took part in the UK Biology Olympiad. This is a national competition that challenges students to solve complex biological challenges. Rayn, James and Leo were awarded the Gold award, putting them in the top 5% of the country. This is a very impressive result, and even more for Leo who is in the Lower 6th and entered the competition a year early. We also had 4 students who were awarded a Silver award (top 15%) and 3 who received Bronze awards (top 25%).
