16 boys from the lower sixth biology sets spent three days in Wales at the Orielton Field Studies Centre sampling and collecting data from rocky sea shore, sand dunes and local streams. Photos show the boys' attempts at sand sculptures of sand dune formation and succession and also some of the native species sampled in the dunes. The intense course focused on specific skills related to the exam specification and a number of the practicals carried out are core to the A level course.
