This year’s Be More Griffen Launch in Lower School was a great success. The morning saw the new First Year pupils having a series of lessons designed to help them be as responsible as possible for their own learning with tips on how to prepare for tests, how to respond to their teachers’ feedback, and how to set their own goals. In the afternoon the whole Lower School was inspired by a visit from Talan Skeels Piggins who told the amazing story of how he overcame a road accident which left him paralysed from the chest down to become a Winter Paralympian in alpine skiing and double 600cc Motorcycle World Champion.
