On Saturday all four Young Enterprise teams set up their stalls in a very cold and blustery Banbury town centre. The morning trading conditions were challenging with reduced footfall, but as the day brightened conditions picked up.
Global Chef had great success with their laser etched wooden spoons, Woodworx turned over £36, with some significant sales and Zero Degrees continued their healthy run of sales with a £70 turnover. A particular mention should go to Jake Ginks who put in a very long stall shift.
Team XYLO had a particularly good trade fair, collecting three awards; Best Stall, Best Consumer Service and runner up with Best Product. The area finals are taking place at Abingdon School on Monday 26 March where two teams will be selected to go forward to the county final.
All teams will now begin the wind-up process, selling excess stock, submitting final accounts and paying any VAT due next term.
