A fresh season of the ASP Primary Science Club started with a bang as pupils from several partner primary schools investigated energy stores and transfers under the direction of a team of Science Ambassadors. The primary pupils investigated electricity, magnetism and chemical reactions as pathways for energy transfer and particularly enjoyed the grand finale where Mr Goodman from the Chemistry department demonstrated the spectacular Screaming Jelly Baby. This club continues to be a very popular choice in the OH programme, offering opportunities for development of leadership skills as well as a volunteering opportunity for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
