Pupils at Abingdon Prep School were amongst the winners from several local primary and secondary schools in the Abingdon ATOM Festival of Science and Technology’s 2021 air quality monitoring competition. Alex and Christopher, now in Year 5, were presented with their prizes during a visit to the Yang Science Centre by Jeremy Thomas, Abingdon Science Partnership Lead and current chair of the ATOM Festival organising committee, who said ‘We had a large number of high quality projects submitted from several local schools and were very pleased to be able to present the winners from each school with book vouchers to spend at Mostly Books, one of the ATOM Festival’s key business supporters.’
