Last week over 60 Sixth Formers from across the town came together for the OX14 Learning Partnership Oxbridge Club with a session on ‘Making your application stand out.’ Alongside a presentation on the importance of supra curricular activities and dos and don’ts of writing a good personal statement, students worked in groups to analyse and discuss what makes a good application. The group also discussed the changes in personal statement format and created a student top tips resource. It was wonderful to get staff and students from across our schools together to discuss passion, aspiration and focus for their futures. We look forward to seeing students again at the next session in the spring.
