Lower School boys visited the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford at the weekend with members of the Classics Department. They explored the statues in the Cast Gallery and also visited the excellent “Last supper in Pompeii” exhibition, looking at objects preserved by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD, many on view outside Italy for the first time.
