Fifth year and upper sixth ancient historians visited the British Museum to study exhibits relevant to their exam courses. The fifth years focussed on Persian and early Roman history, while the upper sixth formers looked at the sculptural programme from the Acropolis in Athens. Both groups also enjoyed looking at the current special exhibition “Troy: myth and reality”, where a wide range of objects from both the ancient world and more modern times have been gathered to retell the famous story of the fall of Troy.
