Abingdon School’s music facilities were the venue for the Abingdon Music Festival on Friday and Saturday. The Festival is non-competitive, but the best performances are selected for the closing concert. Three Abingdon pianists were selected, out of a total field of over 100, for the concert: Elliot Liddle playing a jazz piece by Meir and Charles Geday with a Chopin Nocturne. Daniel Zhang was unfortunately unable to play due to an injury received in a Harlequins Academy rugby match in the afternoon.
